Privacy Policy — Rise Co

Rise Co builds apps with your privacy as a priority. This policy covers Rise Habits and Rise Sweep.

Data we collect: None. Neither app collects, stores, or transmits personal data to Rise Co. Your data stays on your device or in your own iCloud account, and we never have access to it.

Rise Habits

Habit data is stored locally on your device using your iPhone's built-in storage.

If you choose to connect Rise Habits to Apple Health, health data is read locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to Rise Co or any third party.

Rise Sweep

Rise Sweep needs access to your photo library to show you your photos and to delete the ones you choose to remove. Photos are read on your device only. They are never uploaded to Rise Co and never leave your control.

If you use iCloud sync, a record of which photos you have already reviewed is stored in your own private iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. This lets your progress follow you between your devices. It is stored under your Apple Account, not on Rise Co servers, and we cannot see it. Turning off iCloud for Rise Sweep stops this at any time.

Location information shown alongside a photo is read from the photo itself on your device. Place names are looked up using Apple's services and stored only on your device.

Deleting a photo in Rise Sweep uses Apple's own deletion process. Photos go to your Recently Deleted album, where iOS keeps them for 30 days.

Payments

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Rise Co never sees or stores your payment information. Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and no personal information.

Analytics

Neither app contains analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
